ReplyDeleteMose - kids room with things that take you there (showed only one drawing); 911 vs. 1835 fire in NY. Who are our contemporary heroes, and why are they always brought down? She has worked a lot on the concept since we met initially, but now the story needs to be flushed out AND we need to see some sketches of the look of it. If you were to connect with 911, consider that it has been 11 years - and we have already forgotten the individuals - what has happen to those REAL heroes (salaries, unions, cancer, layoffs, etc.) Why DON'T we have heroes / tall tales anymore? (maybe visit pop culture library?)
website. splash page with kids bedroom. How do actual news events get turned into an elevated level? NEEDS to HAVE IMAGERY TO WALK US THROUGH THE WEBSITE. How do children view these icons? Connecting 9/11 to the now by bringing
up the reality of how these firefighters have since experienced life (salaries are down, people killed and forgotten, sickness from the dust/particles)
Progress: C-, Concept: B
